Comments
The Western Veil is part of a supernova that took place about 8,000 years ago. The bright star in front is 52-Cygni. This western section is also known as the Witch's Broom.
The moon was about 1st quarter when the color frames were taken and the green portion is light.
It is nonetheless a nice object right in the Milky Way which provides a dense star background.
